The International Building Organisation (IBO) is a non-profit organisation that provides people of all backgrounds with opportunities to take an active part in helping in local community projects. We can offer you a variety of unique volunteer opportunities, ranging from building projects to social or ecological projects. Joining an IBO project means that you can help improve the life of others, that you get to know the local people and culture and that you can gain hands-on work experience. Volunteering with IBO is a unique combination of volunteer work and cultural immersion.

IBO is a European network with branches in Austria, Bulgaria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Switzerland. We have over 65 years of experience in organising volunteer projects.
