Volunteers from Switzerland can join projects in:

The Swiss Bauorden is, legally speaking, an association. According to its statutes, it supports people in need throughout the world. Seen from a moral / ethical perspective, the IBO Switzerland is far more than this: Namely, a relief organization, created based on the demand of the Gospel to assist fellow human beings in distress. For example, to build for them a roof over their heads. Or to clothe them. Or to feed them. "Love builds" is therefore more than just an advertising slogan for us - namely, the deepest reason for our service. We are clearly a Christian relief organization. It was created towards the end of the last world war. At that time, large parts of Europe had to be rebuilt.

The help to fellow human beings can be done by:

•    Providing material support to retirement homes and homes for disabled in Eastern Europe (such institutions have been criminally neglected by the communist regime that unilaterally concentrated attention on human beings as sources of manpower)
•    Personal service of volunteers helping to build and renovate these welfare facilities. The interconnections of the European Bauorden are a valuable support for us at it.
